Oona Copperhill is an award-winning photojournalist, wedding and portrait photographer. Her love of children brought her to a degree in education from Cornell University in 1996. In 2000, she entered the University of Montana’s esteemed School of Journalism for a master’s degree in photojournalism, where she also taught photography.         

Oona has been shooting professionally since 2002. She’s also worked for newspapers, winning a multitude of awards spanning all categories from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association. Her work has been published in the New York Times, People, the Missoulian and The News Tribune and her photos have been purchased by NBC, ABC and other national and international news outlets. As a wedding photographer, she was awarded Best of the Knot for many years in a row.   Today you will find her focusing on her favorite subject - babies! She also enjoys being part of this special community and photographing organizations and businesses doing good work. 
   
Oona lives with her daughters Willa and Tierney and their furry ones. She enjoys paddle boarding, yoga, skiing, gardening, reading, home and interior design and spending time with family and friends. She is also an Airbnb Superhost and loves curating great experiences for her guests. But her addiction is making beautiful photos.
